Refund and Returns Policy
Thank you for shopping at Professional Eye Care Jamaica. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
Returns
- Time Frame: You have 30 days from the date of delivery, based on Tara proof to return your item.
- Defective or Damaged Goods: At PEC we are careful to provide a high-quality product to our patients. Even so, occasional frame breakage may occur and factors of the environment along with the care they receive, may play a role in breakages.
Eyeglass frames carry a 6-month warranty on breakage or damage due to factory defects. If the exact frame is unavailable for replacement, another frame of a similar shape, style, brand and price will be provided.
In the event of damage or breakage due to neglect, PEC will do its best to assist in the repair and replacement of the frame if needed. Additional costs may be applied.
Any frame discoloration due to normal wear such as perspiration, handling, and UV exposure, or the loss of decorative embellishments (jewels, stones) on eyeglass frames are not warrantied. - Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.
Non-returnable Items
- Exceptions: Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom-made products (e.g., custom eyeglasses) and personal care goods (e.g., contact lenses that have been opened). These items cannot be returned unless defective upon arrival.
Refunds
- Process: Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
- Timing: You will receive the credit within 5-7 business days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
Exchanges
- Defective or Damaged Goods: If your item is defective or damaged, you can choose to have it replaced with the same item, subject to availability.
Shipping
- Return Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
